At Willow and Woods, every wallpaper design is created with care and printed to order. This policy explains important information about measurements, samples, colour variation and installation so you can order with confidence. If you have any questions before placing an order, please contact us at katie@willowandwoods.co.uk.
All wallpaper is printed to order specifically for each customer.
Please check all measurements, quantities, design selections and colour choices carefully before placing an order.
If you are unsure how much wallpaper you need, we recommend consulting a professional decorator before purchasing.
We provide a wallpaper calculator on our website to help estimate the quantity required for your project.
Our calculator is provided as a guide only, so please check your own measurements carefully.
While we make every effort to ensure the calculator is accurate, Willow and Woods cannot guarantee the suitability of the calculation for every room or installation.
Customers remain responsible for checking their own measurements and ensuring sufficient wallpaper is ordered for their project.
We are not responsible for shortages resulting from incorrect measurements taken by you, incorrect information entered into the calculator by you, unusual room layouts or installation methods.
We strongly recommend ordering all wallpaper or fabric required for a project at the same time.
Additional rolls ordered at a later date may be produced in a different print run.
As with all digitally printed wallpaper, or fabrics, slight variations between production batches can occur. For this reason, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match between separate orders.
We strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full wallpaper or fabric order.
Samples allow you to assess:
- Colour
- Scale
- Pattern detail
- Material finish
- Suitability within your space
Samples should be viewed in the room where the wallpaper or fabric will be used and under different lighting conditions where possible.
We make every effort to represent colours accurately through photography and product imagery.
However, colours may appear differently depending on:
- Device screens and display settings
- Mobile phones, tablets and computer monitors
- Room lighting
- Natural and artificial light conditions
- Printing processes and materials
As our products are digitally printed, slight colour variation between screens, print batches and runs is normal and isn't a fault. These variations are a normal part of the printing process.
Lifestyle images, room sets and styled photography are intended to provide inspiration and demonstrate how a design may appear within a space.
The scale of a pattern may appear different depending on photography, room size and screen display.
Please refer to product specifications and samples when assessing pattern scale.
Please inspect all wallpaper carefully upon receipt and before cutting, hanging or installation.
Check:
- Design
- Colour
- Quantity
- Print quality
- Product specification
If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us immediately before installation begins.
Wallpaper should be installed in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.
We recommend installation by an experienced decorator.
Willow and Woods cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from:
- Incorrect wall preparation
- Incorrect adhesive selection
- Incorrect installation techniques
- Environmental conditions within the room
- Failure to follow installation instructions
Do not install wallpaper that appears damaged or defective.
Where a defect could reasonably have been identified before installation, we cannot accept responsibility for wallpaper that has already been cut, hung or installed.
We cannot reimburse decorating costs, installation costs or other associated expenses where installation has proceeded despite an apparent issue.
Where fabric products are offered, similar variations in colour, texture and batch production may occur. Customers should always order a sample before placing large fabric orders.
Fabric samples are intended as a guide and may not exactly match future production runs. If you are unsure how much fabric is needed for your project we recommend consulting a professional in the field you intend to use the fabric.
Where customers request bespoke colour changes, custom scaling, commissioned artwork or other design alterations, responsibility for approving the final design rests with the customer.
Proofs and previews should be checked carefully before approval.
Once final approval has been provided, Willow and Woods cannot accept responsibility for errors, omissions or design choices that were visible in the approved artwork.
